About The Root Farm
The Root Farm is an innovative complex, located on over 100 acres in Sauquoit, New York, that features an equine-assisted therapy center, a diverse agriculture center, high and low ropes courses and a zip line and rock climbing wall. The Root Farm property provides educational, recreational, therapeutic, vocational, and volunteering experiences, including the first facility in the country to have a fully accessible high ropes course, available for use by people of all ages and abilities. Our vision is to provide a sense of responsibility along with the new skills that will bring independence and self-worth to all participants. This innovative complex is a place for learning and growing for countless individuals and their families. From the 400 people who participated in recreational programs to the 550 riders who participate in our equine programs and the countless volunteers, The Root Farm is expanding to better reach an ever-growing and diverse group of people. It is so much more than an equine center, encompassing an array of services and life-enriching opportunities.

Our Charity Bib Mission
What our charity will do with the donations raised through the Boilermaker Charity Bib Program:
The funds raised through the Charity Bib program this year will allow us to add ten fitness stations to our existing hiking trails, which will serve as a complement to our recently opened ropes course, zip line and rock climbing wall. The Root Farm is committed to health and wellness and this fun and unique trail will allow people of all abilities to acquire physical fitness.
